More than half of my 20+ years in entertainment journalism was spent at Entertainment Weekly and EW.com, where I rose from reporter to senior writer, became a leading authority on Sons of Anarchy and Justified, and enjoyed my time on-air at EW Radio. While a senior editor at TV Guide Magazine, I helped plan, write, and edit the popular What's Worth Watching section as well as cover stories and other features. As Deputy Editor of Yahoo TV, I was most proud of the team's annual Emmy advocacy and special monthly packages (Why Genre Shows Matter, Why Teen TV Matters). I've moderated panels for Comic-Con, BUILD Series, 92nd Street Y, SAG-AFTRA, ATX Television Festival, SCAD aTVfest, and Paley Center. Currently, I'm freelancing. Bylines include The New York Times, Vulture, Billboard.com, TVLine, Yahoo, ArchitecturalDigest.com, TV Insider Magazine, Tom's Guide, and Gold Derby.
As of 2025, I'm also a freelance research editor for Galerie magazine (finally using that art history degree!).
